i have gone through a few stretches from time to time in which it seems like a disproportionate number of my photos look better cropped square. i used to try to fight it. square crops aren't my thing, right? but eh, maybe sometimes they are. maybe i'll act like it's versatility or something.
all of these photos but one were taken on a single walk. this walk has been the source of most of the photos i've uploaded lately. it was a sunday; it was late morning or early afternoon or both. we walked a few miles to a nice spot overlooking kenya, 4000 or so feet below us at the bottom of the escarpment. then the rain came downpouringly. then we walked back in a very wet fashion.
i particularly like the image of the older woman with earrings (6 up from the bottom) - i like her sweet, almost coy expression
